Rock you like a hurricane…

THAT song is dedicated to my sister: Kimmy. Don’t ask me why she loves that song.

Anyway – last week started with this amazing rainy Monday. So amazing it actually flooded a lot of streets. I was told to go home early and to avoid flooding my car I was U-Turn queen! So many common streets to my house were flooded and I had to take different routes to higher ground. It was such a scary sight – so many cars died, water had risen up to car handle height. I saw people trying to get out of their cars by windows or sunroofs. I was fine but because of my crazy driving and all the washed up construction sites, a huge nail punctured my rear tire and had to be replaced -_____-;

Oh well – thankfully my dude wasn’t teaching the next day and he went to get a new tire. Damn crazy Houston weather! Speaking of weather, it is hot again! No more fluffy hats then???? This hat was at Hot Topic – I didn’t buy it but man was it cute but kind of heavy to hold up!

Friday night my dude, Kimmy and I went on a mini adventure to Petsmart – we saw the most lovely kitty ever! She was a fluffy calico! Now I am not sure if you guys remember our cats but I have a fluffy cat named Tomo and my fiancΓ© has a little old lady calico named Missy. If they would have mated they would have created this big pawed beauty! Kim posted more about her over here.

OK – now about work! New job is A M A Z I N G!!! Seriously can’t believe I endured such a chaotic office for the last five years of my life! The new office bought me a brand new iMac and all the software I need. Working on their new site is my first assignment.

Random post today….I know! What is the weather like for you?

    Thanks for visiting Mija!

    OMG that’s scary…I remember when a similar situation happened to my hometown and my mom and sis were trapped outside while I was at home alone worried sick about their well being. I am glad you made it out safely!

    Good luck with your new job! Sounds like a good place to work at :D. The weather here is getting colder…we got snow but now looks like there’s a small break.

    Hallo! Thank you for commenting on my blog πŸ˜€ Sorry it took me a while to visit yours @.@

    And wow, I don’t think I can handle flooding like you, cause 1. I can’t swim 2. I’m a bad driver D: I’m glad you made it home safe and dry πŸ˜€ But the punctured tire is unfortunate πŸ™

    Weather up in NY was… snowy on Saturday, but today it was raining so bye-bye snow πŸ™

    And OMG Pinterest !!! πŸ˜€ So much fun… I never understood how people could waste time on Facebook, but now I kinda understand, I guess Pinterest is my distraction @.@

    I know! Facebook is bleh at times but pinterest is so addicting! I love that site!

    Whoa, that’s so much water! That’s crazy that it flooded. Having to replace your tire sucks, but I’m glad you didn’t get stuck in the water at least =O

    Aww, your cats are cute! I can totally see how that cat is like a combination of your 2 cats, haha. And I’m glad your new job is amazing!

    The weather here was sunny and dry. We don’t get enough rain in Austin, sigh.

    @Cat, I agree – if my car died I wouldn’t know what to do…

    Haha I wanted to get that kitty so bad but it took awhile for my kitty and my fiance’s cat to get along so wouldn’t want to upset their cat mojo!

    It rained a little on Tuesday but nothing like it was last week, thank goodness! I hope you guys get some sprinkle ;o;l!!
