2015 year in review

I will backlog this post after I post 2016 year in review.

I am so late on this but I’ve haven’t blogged so much in 2015 on account of being lazy…..and prego. You can view the other years over here: 2014, 2013, 2012 or 2011!

Started the new year with another win of Female Gaymer of the Year. Like I’ve said before – we are so lucky to have met so many awesome gaming friends!!! We also went to the first ever PAX South! Got to finally meet fellow gamer and blogger CAT!! She also lives in Texas and we always try to meet up and cons and so it was awesome that we finally did in San Antonio! She posted this pic of us!!! We also got to meet Randy Pitchford from Gearbox. We love Gearbox and Borderlands so this was really awesome!

Monster Hunter 4 came out in the states! We got the game for ourselves as a Valentine gift! MH is one of those games that we just adore – it is one of our favorite games.

Kite Festival in Houston! What a beautiful weekend festival. We made our own kites with our friends!! We all made Monster Hunter themed kites!!! You can
read the DIY instructions and more pictures over here!

Our friends were in a charity drag show! I posted about their first show in 2014 and they did it again with amazing new looks! Our friends make pretty performers!

Kat had her bday at our parents house! We also adopted a puppy as a gift to my mother-in-law. Her Scottish terrier passed away and so we adopted her this adorable To-to look alike from the local Houston shelter. She is just amazingly sweet!!!

Comics! My hubby and I got back into Marvel comics. We both loved reading old Marvel when we were kids but never really got into collecting full series. We were talking that one day we would love to have something to pass down to our kids one day. At this time there was alot of cool girl power at Marvel including Spider Gwen, THOR and Storm. We started collecting all 3 titles!

July isn’t just my birthday but also Usagi from Sailor Moon. Sailor Moon is THE girl power show we grew up. In the early 90s we started to watch the DIC dubbing on tv. I was in 2nd grade and we didn’t even know that the show was Japanese. It wasn’t until I started to pay attention to end credits that I noticed the names of the animators. We picked up the singles at a local comic book store. I made some charm bracelets and sold them for a few bucks at ETSY.

Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer came out at the end of Summer. I preordered the NEW 3DS and collected the amiibo cards.

I found out I was prego! Boy – I took 3 tests just to see if it was real. In truth, we were trying for a few months and still the shocked of seeing the positive indicator still shocked me! My hubby drew a pic of us as an announcement to our friends!

We went to CALI! We visited my hubby’s family and went to a wedding! My dude surprised me with tickets to Disneyland.

I started to get morning sickness at the end of my first trimester so I was horrible at blogging and social media at this time. Thanksgiving and the usual. I was stressing out how to tell my office I was prego, stressing out how we could deal with daycare etc… Stress and morning sickness do not mix well!!

Our best friends got married. Same sex marriage was allowed nation wide in the US thanks to the supreme court vote. Our friends have been together for over 10 years, if anyone deserved to be married it was them! At this time, only a few close friends knew about our pregnancy. I hadn’t been showing just yet. Best way to end 2015!

Wow, 2015 was quite a while ago, but itโ€™s good that you still have the major events written down! I do a review every year but I would forget… I would have to go back to my blog post about 2015 to remember exactly what happened then. ?

I am so glad your friends were finally able to marry. And it sounds like it was a big year with your baby as well.

Your husband is lovely for having planned the surprise tickets to Disneyland!

@Georgie, going through instagram, my planner and blog totally helps!!!

We were so happy for them, probably the only wedding where I cried – might have been the prego hormones though XD

We are such disney fans, it was amazing!!! I want to go back!!!
