Happy Birthday Honey-Vanity.net
Today my domain is 7! I came from an age of Livejournal, actually I had my first livejournal in highschool: 2002. It was until a year or 2 later when I moved out for college that my sisters and I both started to rely on livejournal for our life updates. I was very active on livejournal with my online friends who I’ve gotten to know and even met a few of them! I had a graphics journal, collab graphics community and loads of jrock/vk sharing communities. It was an amazing time to meet other vk fans who went to lives and cons.
July 20th, 2006 was the day I felt independent with my own domain. Cat did a great post about her domain birthday so I wanted to do something similar. Five random facts about Honey-Vanity.net
1. The name came from a Kozi song which I still will blast in the car pretending I can sing along to his weird japanese dialect.
2. The domain was bought by Yui for my birthday back in 2006 as a birthday gift to me!
3. This site was mainly used for my collective/portal but converted into my graphics site after I started to pull away from livejournal.
4. In 2008 I made this subdomain and started this blog!! I picked Malice.honey-vanity.net because Malice Mizer was one of the first vk bands I fell in love with when I was in highschool ;o;
5. Never hosted anyone (besides my sisters) until recently – YAY Ginger! XD

Happy Birthday! Such a veteran xD It was only recently that I actually bought my own domain and I love it xD I’m going to have to look up that Kozi song, OMG I know this song!! I’ve heard this :O It’s such a catchy song 😀

I remember how active I was back in livejournal but then suddenly everything went poof and I no longer keep updates with online friends.. back then, LJ’s really satisfying. now, everyone seems to have left haha.
Back when I still had my graphics website, I tend to visit to your graphics site and admired what you do, especially your layouts. i still do now 🙂

Happy birthday to your blog! Oh man, 7 years, that’s insane! I used to get involved in all these online journals and would be super active about it for a while and then just drop it completely. I think my currently blog is the longest I’ve ever kept.
I used to LOVE LOVE LOVE Malice Mizer and would listen to all their songs! My favourite would have to be Au Revoir, I have no clue what they’re saying but it relaxes me 🙂

Wow! 7 years! That’s a huge accomplishment 😀
hmm I started waaaaaay back in the day when there was this free hosting thing call Geocities. And then I got hosted in various places till I finally settle with lolitium.net (my first domain).
