Mija's Malice

I finally started to do something I always wanted to do. Design stationery and stickers! I know, totally weird but when I was 14, my favorite hobby was playing with Paintshop Pro and designing greeting cards and I had large collection of Lisa Frank stickers. My dream job was a mixture of Hallmark and Lisa Frank. After 10+ years working in design for other people – I decided to work on stuff for myself.

I finally got my butt into gear and make some sets. It might seem silly to some people but these themed items have been extremely fun and I love how they look, its been really fun!

My stationery sets include the watercolor succulents, colorful hello and 2 fandom sets for Dr. Who and Harry Potter (slytherin).

Our sticker sets include watercolors of succulents (hand painted by Kimmy), dino origami and my newest set: gamer glam.

We made a sister pack that this year we would work to get an Etsy store up and running! We are going to start putting more items up like knitted mittens, bows, stationary and other charms! I even will be putting up 3DS cases I made.

Speaking of 3DS – my husband ordered the “new” smaller 3DS with Animal Crossing bundle!! Should get it by the end of the month!! We’ve been OBSESSED with Splatoon playing the online ranked battles non-stop. Husband and I have to take turns since we only have 1 wiiu. We did get the game for my sisters to also play! Don’t let those little sisters fool you! Kimmy has been kicking my butt on turf war!! B R U T A L!!! Today is her bday by the way! Stop by her blog and say hello!!!

I’m starting to branch off to creating some handmade items. I just needed a break from freelance and coding – sometimes a little crafting can make the brain feel creative!! International Sailor Moon Day is fast approaching and I am donating a Bow 3DS case to the cosplay contest. I’m also creating some bracelets and charms – here are a few examples of some of the pieces I made.

Besides that Houston has been having weird weather, from foggy warm days to rainy ice cold mornings. The back and forth with all of this weird weather has made me sick – sore throat and runny nose. Gross. So I am home today, watching the winter Olympics and playing Bravely Default. If you love jrpgs then you have to get this game. I have been wanting something like this on the 3DS, and the art is amazing. My dude got the special edition that came with the soundtrack so we’ve been listening to that while out doing errands.
